With Gianluigi Buffon leaving Juventus, the Italian Champions are in the market for a new goalkeeper. Genoa’s Mattia Perin has been touted as a likely candidate as if his comments are to be believed, a deal seems likely to be struck really soon.
“I do not feel like I’m here at home,” Perin said. “I’m thinking of the national team, I leave it to my agents and the two clubs. I’m trying to leave the market rumours for ten to fifteen days., after an excellent season at Genoa, there is the chance that it will go away but nothing is done yet. I feel ready in the case to make a qualitative leap.”
Genoa are reported to be asking for €16million for the Italian international.
