Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema believes that his goal in the Champions League final goal against Liverpool not due to luck.
The striker capitalized on a Loris Karius quick restart and intercepted to score for Real Madrid as they went on to beat Liverpool 3-1 victory in Kiev.
He said:
“My goal from Kiev, it was not a matter of luck,” he said, via AS. I do not believe in luck, it’s a matter of work. It’s an easy goal but you have to be there, in the right place and at the right time, to put it in.”
