Monaco and French winger Thomas Lemar is set to snub Liverpool and Arsenal for a move to the Spanish capital to sign for Atletico Madrid.
This is according to AS who are reporting that the young winger is in talks with Diego Simeone’s side subject to a move. Lemar 23 has been long touted as a target for English giants Liverpool and Arsenal in a late twist of events, none seem likely to acquire his signature.
Should he move to Mardid, the move would cost the Europa League holders € 90 million and would be in no connection to Antoine Griezmann’s purported transfer.
