Unai Emery is reported to be keen on boosting Arsenal’s defence by acquiring the services of Stuttgart centre back Benjamin Parvard.
The young French centre back who can also play at right back impressed last season and as a result earned a place in his nation’s World cup squad thus elevating his status as a future world class defender. Stuttgart are reported to be asking for a £ 44 million transfer fee.
Arsenal are in the market for defensive cover after the long term injury incurred by Laurent Koscielny and the departure of Per Martesaker who retired at the end of the season.
