Chelsea and Arsenal are set to go head to head this summer in the race for Jasper Cillessen.
That’s according to sport, who think that the two sides are determined to get a top class keeper this summer, and want to make Cillessen their top choice.
Arsenal are simply looking to upgrade – and new manager Unai Emery wants to make sure his options are much better than the ones he currently has available, with Petr Cech someone who seems to be losing form as he gets older, and David Ospina never having been a top keeper.
Chelsea however are in the position where they have a top class keeper, but are worried that he will leave in the summer, or if some reports are to be believed, sold to make a profit for the club if owner Roman Abramovich does decide to sell the club and recoup the money he has put in.
