Six Game Times announced for 2018 Football Season

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select game times and television designations for the 2018 Maryland football season have been announced by ESPN and FOX on Thursday.
For the second straight year, the Terps will open their season against Texas. This year’s battle against the Longhorns is set for September 1 at FedExField and will kickoff at noon and be broadcast on FoxSports1 . Maryland defeated then-No. 23 Texas, 51-41, in Austin last year.

The Terps will then travel to Bowling Green for their first night game of the season. Maryland’s road opener against the Falcons on September 8 will kick at 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.

The first game played at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium is set for September 15 when the Terps welcome Temple for a noon kick . Maryland is 7-1 all-time against the Owls, with the most recent meeting occurring in 2012. The contest against Temple will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

Maryland’s games at Michigan (October 6) and at Iowa (October 20) will both kick at noon.The Terps will host Rutgers for their homecoming game on October 13.
