Portuguese publications are reporting that Liverpool are favorites to sign Manchester United target Anderson Talisca. This is despite the Reds completing the signatures of midfielders Fabinho and Naby Keita.
It is believed that coach Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the Brazilian’s rare combination of power, athleticism, technical ability and goalscoring prowess.
The former Selecao youth international has blossomed during his two-year spell at Benfica, and he racked up 16 goals and 6 assists during his debut campaign in Turkey, and a further 20 goals and 7 assists this past season.
It has now emerged that Liverpool are willing to meet Benfica’s £21 million valuation of the player and will beat Manchester united and Roma to his signature.
