Former Swansea Boss in Talks To Replace Zidane at Madrid

Real Madrid are allegedly in talks with former Swansea manager Michael Laudrup as a potential replacement for Zinedine Zidane.

The Spanish giants were stunned when Zidane announced he was quitting his job just five days after leading them to a third-successive Champions League title.

Laudrup’s agent Bayram Tutumlu has now revealed that the Danish legend has been contacted to take over the club.

“Last night nobody knew Zidane’s plans. That’s why it is all knew to everyone. But of course, I’ve been in contact with people at the club, and Michael Laudrup is a candidate for the job.” Tutumlu said as quoted by Dutch news outlet Ekstra Bladet.

Laudrup, who spent two years as a player at Madrid between 1994-96, is now manager of club Al Rayyan in the Qatar Stars League. He is remembered for winning the EFL cup with Swansea in 2013.
