Former England manager Fabio Capello has sensationally claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo wants a re-union with Jose Mourinho. Capello claims that Ronaldo wants to move to Manchester United and work with his Portuguese compatriot once again.
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with Real Madrid? Cristiano wants to return to Manchester United alongside Mourinho,” Capello is quoted as saying by Daily Star.
“I think he will eventually leave Madrid to go back to England. When? This I don’t know.”
The Portugal international opened the door to a potential exit at The Bernabeu following Real Madrid’s 3-1 win against Liverpool FC in the Champions League final.
The Portugal captain won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the Champions League during an eight-year spell at Manchester United.
