Daniel Sturridge could finally be on his way out of Liverpool after his representative met the president of Besiktas twice to discuss a move. Sturridge spent the second half of the season on loan at West Brom but struggled again with injuries. And Turkish publication Fotomac claims he could now be heading to Turkey with Besiktas keen on a deal.

It is reported that his representative has held two meetings with the Ahmet Cebi, the Besiktas president.

” If the fans want him Conditions occurs and Sturridge could play in Turkey,” Hasan Eken said, a Turkish representative of Sturridge’s agency. The 28-year-old missed out on a place in the England World Cup squad after playing just six times for West Brom

He failed to complete 90 minutes during his loan spell and spent two months out injured between February and April. He last scored for England against Scotland in November 2016 and has just one year left on his current contract. Jurgen Klopp is already looking at ways to bolster his front line ahead of next season with Sturridge not in his plans.

Mohamed Salah helped fire Liverpool to the Champions League final alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. And that trio could be joined by Fekir and possibly another with Ousmane Dembele also on the radar if he becomes available at Barcelona
