West Ham striker Marko has admitted that it is a ‘great honour’ to be a Manchester United target.
The Austrian striker was speaking after his country’s 1-0 victory over Russia on Wednesday evening. Jose Mourinho was in the stadium and watched as the 29-year-old assisted the only goal of the match as he plans to swoop for the striker this summer.
The United manager also watched Austria’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia last October – a game in which Arnautovic started on the wing and scored in the 3-2 triumph.
West Ham have slapped a £50million price tag on their player of the season. Arnautovic joined the club from Stoke City last season and currently has four years left on his Hammers contract.
