Gor Mahia denies Harambee Stars players ahead of Mumbai tournament

Kenya will be among the countries in Mumbai that will be playing to win the Hero Intercontinental Cup in  India next month.

However, the Kenya football champions Gor Mahia will  have none of their  players at the to join the National team Harambee Stars to play.

According to  Gor’s Chief Executive Lodvick Aduda, “Our technical team requested to have all the players available for league games and the SportPesa Super Cup.”

He further added saying, “We are also in the Confederation Cup and we must prepare.”

The national team is now expected to open their campaign against New Zealand on June 2 before facing hosts India two days later.

They will face Chinese Taipei on June 8, and the top two teams will face off in the final on June 10.
