Ahead of the Sportpesa Super Cup, Gor Mahia skipper Harun Shakava feels that Tanzanian Champions Simba will be a put up a strong challenge to them since they have had a fantastic season in their local league.

Simba lost just one of their 30 league games in the 2017/18. They got 20 wins, nine draws and Kagera was the lone side that managed maximum points from Simba.

Shakava says they won’t be underrating any team and will give a strong find if they meet.

“Playing tournament matches are always hard because every team want to give their best and the chances are equal so we can’t look down on any team. We respect all teams but we are seeing Simba as the main challenge because they have been enjoying some good run in their league. That doesn’t mean they will have an easy one, no.” ShakavaGor Mahia website.

JKU of Zanzibar will be Gor Mahia’s first opponent.
