Gor Mahia defender and skipper Harun Shakava says they will be taking the Super Cup matches with total seriousness to ensure they defend Cup.
The Kenyan Giants won the first edition of the super Cup beating Jangombe and Nakuru Allstars by a 2-0 scoreline and whipped rivals AFC Leopards 3-0 in the finals.
“We will handle all our matches with the seriousness they deserve and our aim is to defend the title,” Shakava told the official Gor Mahia website.
Gor Mahia will start off with a clash against JKM and a win will see them face the winner of the tie pitting AFC Leopards and Singida United. The matches will be at Afraha Stadium.
