Championship winners Wolverhampton are in advanced talks to sign Benik Afobe on a permanent deal from Bournemouth, this is according to Sky sources.
It is understood that the striker who spent the second half of the season on loan with Wolves has a £12.5 million release clause which the newly promoted Premier League side are willing to trigger.
Afobe, an Arsenal Academy graduate scored 6 goals in 16 championship games as Wolves won the Championship and the club hopes he can replicate the same in the Premier league.
