Midfielder Roque Mesa is on the verge of been signed by Swansea City.
Swansea City spent £11m to sign Mesa from Las Palmas but six months later he moved back to his homeland to spend the remainder of the campaign at Sevilla.
Reports indicate that, talks are ongoing regarding a permanent deal. Mesa only made seven outings in La Liga.
In addition, Sevilla would be willing to pay £7m to secure Mesa’s signature, with the player still having three years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
However, an opportunity to get Mesa off the wage bill could appeal to Swansea, who have just been relegated from the Premier Lerague.
