Bournemouth captain Simon Francis has extended his contact by a year with the club.
Francis who had one year remaining on his previous deal, will remain at the Vitality Stadium until the end of the 2019-2020 season after he agreed to the terms.
Francis made 286 appearances for the Cherries since joining from Charlton Athletic in 2011, where he played a key role in their promotion from League One to the top flight. Francis said via the club’s website: “I’m delighted to sign a new deal and am really looking forward to the next two years.
