Legal issues have emerged with a debate non whether Sergio Ramos’s challenge on Mohamed Salah was legit.
The Liverpool defender locked arms as they were running for the ball which resulted to Salah coming off the pitch having a shoulder injury which may now keep him from the World cup games scheduled for next month in Russia.
The European Judo Union has now taken up the matter for investigation.Meanwhile, Ramos was not punished for for the incident and the matter of whether he should have been penalised has since divided fans and critics.
The Union has now taken to social media to give their take on the challenge and has sided with Salah, pointing out that Ramos’s takedown was similar to a move that is outlawed in judo.
