West Ham United have been reported to be aiming for Genoa defender Armando Izzo during the summer transfer window.
According to Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini , he is ready to rival a host of Serie A clubs for the centre-back’s signature.
He is said to be keen to boost his defence over the summer and Izzo is among the top defenders in his list.
Pellegrini has also added that Barcelona central defender Marlon Santos, who spent last season on loan is also in his list.
The former Manchester City boss previously confirmed that he is aiming to add “four or five” players to his squad this summer.
