Nkata takes over Kakamega Homeboyz

Paul Nkata is the new Kakamega Homeboyz coach following the dismissal of Mike Mururi, his assistant Peter Okidi, Technical Director Alfred Imonje and the team doctor, ahead of the second leg.

Nkata led Tusker FC to a double in 2016 and is set to return to the Kenyan Premier League with a bang, having left at the close of the 2017 campaign, after leading Bandari FC in the season.

Nkata will come accompanied by his assistant coach Hamza Kalinza, with whom he served at URA. Both Nkata and Hamza have been given a one year contract each.

Nkata’s first task will be against Kariobangi Sharks when the second leg of the league resumes in June 6.
