Gor Mahia FC pips Sony Sugar to open a six point gap

Gor Mahia dominance over Sony continued as they registered 1-0 win in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Wednesday at Moi Stadium.

Dylan Kerr charges came to this clash seeking the 12th  league win over Sony Sugar in the 19th league meeting. Ephraim Guikan netted the lone goal of the matches.

Guikan pushed the ball in between Kelvin Olouch legs for the lone goal of the match after Innocent Wafula floated in a cross from the right wing. Despite dominating plays and creating more chances, the side failed to add more goals.

Gor Mahia FC is placed top with 34 points which is six more points more than what second-placed Ulinzi has. Sony Sugar remains bottom with 14 points after 17 rounds.
