Roberto Firmino has reported to Brazil’s World Cup training camp two days earlier than the expected day.
The Liverpool forward was given till Wednesday to report to camp but opted to report early in a bid to fight for the starting spot against Gabriel Jesus.
The Liverpool player arrived at Tottenham’s training centre late on Monday and took fitness tests on Tuesday to make sure he was ready to fight for his pace at the earliest possible opportunity.
“I had two more days to stay home, but I decided to come early and start now,” he said
