The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has announced Francois Regis Uwayezu as the new Secretary General.
Uwayezu, 35, is a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and accounting from Mount Kenya University.
Announcing the development, FERWAFA President Sekamana Jean Damascene, expressed his confidence in the appointment: “I am very pleased to welcome Uwayezu as Secretary-General and we look forward to working with him. His expertise in the administration and management as well his football knowledge and experience will be an asset for FERWAFA,”
Uwayezu said, “Football has always been my passion. I am delighted to be joining FERWAFA and I look forward to working together with FERWAFA Executive Committee and other stakeholders to develop Rwandan football and I am quite sure that we will do a great job together,”
