Departing defender Brian Birgen believes his Ulinzi Stars teammates able to help the side register positive results in the upcoming league games.
Birgen played his final clash of the season as Ulinzi suffered a 2-1 loss to Sofapaka FC at Afraha Stadium. He says his wish was to leave the side on winning note.
“Definitely, I would have liked to exit with a win but that is part of the game. I trust that my teammates will lift the team from this current low and get back to winning ways, for the good of the club and the fans. I wish them all well as I leave for my course and I will always support the team and follow their performance,” he told the club’s official portal.
He will be back in action for the side after completing the military training.
