The agent of Napoli star Jorginho says Chelsea are an ‘important and interesting club’ but insists he’s not been in contact with the Blues. A host of European clubs are believed to be chasing Jorginho with Manchester City leading the chase to sign the Italian midfielder. Pep Guardiola was blown away by the midfielder’s performance during City’s 3-2 win in Naples in the Champions League last season and pulled out of a deal for Shakhtar Donestsk star Fred because of the Italian’s display. However, Joao Santos says there’s been no progress on City’s deal and hinted Chelsea could enter the race.
