Gor Mahia tactician Dylan Kerr is delighted with his charges attitude during their Sportpesa Shield match against SS Asad.
The side beat Assad 5-1 as they faced off in the shield opener at Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa on Sunday 27 May.
The coach has picked out Jacques Tuyisenge, Lawrence Juma and Godfrey Walusimbi as playera who were marvelous.
“I’m happy… the attitude of my players is great because these games are always difficult regardless of who the opponents are. Juma scoring a brace was good. And Walusimbi as a right back scoring too was marvelous. Nanok took his goal well and Jaques despite getting injured injured, scored – but you know what, even in the last minutes he wanted that goal so badly and let’s hope he is fine.”
Gor Mahia will be back in action to face Sony Sugar.
