Kenya Premier League side Vihiga United has dropped six players three days before the midseason transfer window which will swing open in June.
The six include former AFC Leopards skipper Martin Imbalambala who joined the side from Kakamega Homeboyz. Jacob Atinda, Victor Ayugi, William Oricho, Dennis Lugalia and Wycliffe Kabaji have also been shown the door.
“The following players have been released by the club: Martin Imbalambala, Jacob Atinda, Victor Ayugi, William Oricho, Dennis Lugalia, Wycliffe Kabaji. We would like to wish them well in their future careers. We thank the sponsors & fans for their continued support,” reads a post by Vihiga.
The sign is expected to sign five players in the June window.
