Despite having been forced out of the Champions League after a challenge by Sergio Ramos, Liverpool and Egypt attacker Mohammed Salah is confident of playing the World Cup.
The PFA player of the year was withdrawn in the opening half and his side went on to lose 3-1 to Real Madrid. Salah has allayed fears saying he will miss the World Cup.
He wrote : It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud. Your love and support will give me the strength I need.
