Jose Mourinho has narrowed down his midfield wish list to five players, as the Manchester United boss looks to strengthen in the middle of the park this summer.
According to reports,The Red Devils have already reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk player Fred.
The clubb is however not willing to pay the £87.5m valuation to Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Nice’s Jean-Michael Seri has also been linked with a move to Mourinho’s side, however Arsenal, Chelsea and Napoli are all reportedly interested in the 26-year-old as well.
The report adds that Arturo Vidal of Bayern Munich and Marco Verratti of Juventus are also being considered, while Jorginho remains a player of interest.
