Former France international William Gallas has said that Manchester united Winger Anthony Martial does not deserve to be in Russia. Gallas said that, Martial has had an inconsistent season and should only blame himself for missing out on the France Squad.
‘He didn’t perform at his best the whole season,’ he said. He added that he doesn’t feel sorry for him because he was in the squad many times and had the chance to prove himself.
Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezman, Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Lemar were all chosen by coach Didier Deschamps ahead of Martial who has been capped 18 times.
