Sergio Ramos has warned Cristiano Ronaldo that ‘he couldn’t go anywhere better or find a better place’ than Real Madrid.
Ronaldo surprisingly claimed he could leave Madrid in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s Champions League Final against Liverpool, which Los Blancos won 3-1, and Ramos urged the No 7 to reconsider his stance.
“Cris is a key piece in this squad. He couldn’t go anywhere better. Cris likes to be loved and we’d be delighted if he stayed. He wouldn’t find a better place, he’s our ‘crack’. After that, anyone is free to make their own decisions. I hope he stays for many more years.I don’t think anyone would want to move elsewhere after touching the sky. Now comes the World Cup and a Champions League to enjoy,” the defender said after the game.
