Liverpool owner John Henry has termed Spanish Premier League , La Liga as a league with weak competition and he wonders why players leave England for the league.
He said: ‘It’s hard to understand why players would want to go to a league where the competition is so weak. They must play 30 or so meaningless matches per year waiting for Champions League matches, he told AP.
Liverpool will face Madrid with the attempt to win a sixth European Cup on Saturday.
