Gor Mahia FC Chief Executive Officer Lodvick Aduda says they had a mutual agreement to have the Shield tie pitting As Assad on Sunday 27 May.

He says that will help reduce fixture congestion in July onwards.

“It was a mutual agreement between Gor Mahia and FKF that the match be played this weekend. We have very many matches coming up and doing away with this one was thought to be important,” Aduda told Gor Mahia website

Gor Mahia was to tackle AFC Leopards on 26 May but the clash was later postponed
