Celtic held talks on having Paris Saint-Germain striker Odsonne Edouard, on-loan.
The Hoops are said to be keen on bringing in the France age-grade international on a permanent basis after he made a big impression during his spell on loan this season.
According to the Daily Mail, a deadline of June 16 is in place for a deal to be agreed, with a fee of £5m – plus various add-ons – having been set by the French giants.
Celtic are confident of shaking hands with PSG in the next fortnight, making the 11-goal striker their first arrival of the summer transfer window.
Edouard has also previously spent time on loan at Ligue 1 side Toulouse, netting one goal in 16 league outings.
