Dust seems to have settled after the tiff between Football Kenya Federation and Kenyan Premier League Limited that has last more than a week following the decision to engage in club or national duty as preference.
This is after the KPL sent out a statement on Wednesday 23rd May night confirming the postponement of the MAshemeji Derby earlier set for this weekend after consulting with the Sports Disputes Tribunal seeking a solution to the standoff.
KPL notice in part:
After consultations with the KPL Executive Committee, this is to confirm that the AFC Leopards SC vs Gor Mahia FC match that was scheduled to be played at the Bukhungu Stadium on Saturday, 26 May 2018 has been postponed.
A new date and venue for the match will be communicated next week after consultation with the home team, AFC Leopards SC.
