With Jack Wilshere’s future remaining uncertain since his contract is due to expire next month, Arsenal is reported to be in hot pursuit of Ivory Coast star Jean Michael Seri.
This could be among the first arrivals of new manager Unai Emery, the 26 earlier linked with a move to FC Barcelona last season but the Spanish giants opted out the deal at the last minute, which has left Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain the two interested parties.
According to Sky Sports, Emery attempted to sign Seri for PSG last season but was forced to sign Lassana Diarra on a free transfer due to financial fair play regulations after the world-record Neymar deal.
Seri scored two goals and registered 10 assists in 43 games for Nice across all competitions in the 2017/18 campaign.
