Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia are planning to sign out of favor midfielder Ovella Ochieng, Futaa reports.
The midfielder who was impressive in the previous season has not been able to feature for Sharks this season after falling out with the club’s management.
Ochieng is reported to have been denied playtime at the club after opting not to sign a contract extension.
“The player wants to join Gor Mahia. Mentally, he already left Sharks, so the two clubs are in talks and hopefully they will reach some form of agreement,” a source told Futaa.
Gor Mahia FC is planning for a busy Second leg schedule where they will have a lot of matches to play and will need depth to help keep their player rotation method.
