Biggest names missing in Russia for 2018 World Cup

The World Cup is always an amazing spectacle as the best countries from around the world compete for the biggest prize in football.

Countries such as Italy, Chile, USA and Holland all failed to qualify for this summer’s tournament meaning players like Gianluigi Buffon, Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Arjen Robben will all miss out.

Jan Oblak, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Naby Keita will also miss out on the tournament as their countries failed to qualify.

However, there have been plenty of huge names that have been left out of their national squads.

Below are the best XIs missing from the 2018 World Cup.

Above is our squad of the best players who didn’t make their countries’ final squads.

Karim Benzema, Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas don’t make our line up which just shows how good the quality of this team really is.

There has been outrage in both England and Belgium as Jack Wilshere and Radja Nainggolan were omitted from their respective squads. Whilst Joe Hart will miss his first international tournament since Euro 2008, when England didn’t qualify.
