Talented musicians in Nairobi will soon have an opportunity to get free studio recording and video shoots, thanks to MP Babu Owino. Supporting talented youths in his constituency was one of Babu’s campaign pledges. He has already taken the first step towards this. The first-time MP is planning a talent search competition that will see five contenders bag goodies.
While details are still not out, the competition would run for one month and local Kenyan act – Gabu – will be heavily involved. Babu and the “Simple Lover” hitmaker held a meeting yesterday to discuss details of the prospective talent search.
