Arsene Wenger Hints at PSG Role

ARSENE WENGER has given his first hint he is ready to take up a role at Paris Saint-Germain by questioning if he wants to put himself through the pain of management any more.

Wenger is still reeling from the abrupt end this his Arsenal career after the final two years were spent facing mounting criticism from the supporters.

When he first revealed he was leaving the Emirates, the 68-year-old insisted he would be looking for another manager’s role elsewhere.

But since then he has been left considering whether he has the stomach to put up with the harsh life as a boss any more – or move into a senior advisory role instead.

Speaking to the Guardian, Wenger said: “It’s just too soon to know what I will do next.

“I haven’t even emptied my desk yet and in a way I am still in a state of shock. I am going to give myself until June 14, the day the World Cup begins, to decide.
