A man was lynched on Tuesday for killing his parents and a neighbour in Siritanyi village, Bungoma county, before angry locals . 25 years old Yusuf Seyunda first attacked his mother Grace Akot at their Kanduyi home with a club, killing her instantly. He then killed Joseph Masafu, a neighbour who responded to Akot’s distress call. Yusuf then went to the family’s farm where his father was working and killed him.
“Seyunda seemed high on some substance. He had a club in his hand and was attacking people haphazardly. We were forced to scamper for safety,” local said. He was later lynched.
