Bobasi Member of Parliament Obiri Momanyi has been taken into police custody for causing damage to property belonging to Nyamonema quarry. He is being held at central station.
His bodyguard was also arrested recently n Athi River for the offence of assault, causing bodily harm and malicious damage to property.
Momanyi is accused of storming the quarry on 3 weeks ago demanding that they shut down their machines which he claimed had caused women to miscarry and resulted in damage to surrounding property.
