DPP Makes Shocking Statement On Pastor Ng’ang’a Verdict

In a major shock, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution has called the acquittal of Pastor James Ng’ang’a wrong.

“This shall be brought to the attention of the High Court for appropriate remedy,” a statement from the ODPP said on Tuesday.

As per the Public Prosecutor, the magistrate acquitted the pastor without giving any reason. The statement added that the said that the trial judge was not even in court during the ruling.

Apparently, the verdict was given by some other magistrate who had not been hearing the case.

“All the accused faced the charge of conspiracy to defeat justice by misleading Investigating Officers in respect of Tigoni IAR (F) 44/2015 in order to defeat justice,” the ODPP added.
