Remember Angry Birds? Now this is a better and more involving game called Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs. The game will task participants with saving stolen eggs from greedy green pigs
Resolution Games, the developer behind Angry Birds, has confirmed that an augmented reality version of the game is coming soon.
Similar to Pokemon Go, the game will bring the Angry Birds characters into the real world.
Resolution Games explained: “You can see the incredibly realistic characters, along with the entire game, overlaid onto your actual environment, bringing Angry Birds to life like never before.
“Make your way up to party city through the island’s jungle, desert and frosty hideout, destroying their structures in the most spectacular way to earn maximum stars and retrieve the stolen eggs.
“Take the slingshot into your own hands to fire off your favorite Angry Birds at structures that seem like they are in your actual environment, whether it be your home, your office or outside at the park. “
Unfortunately for Android users, the game appears to be an iOS exclusive at the moment.
Resolution Games added: “Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs is available for pre-order now on the App Store for iPhone 6s and later, all iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation and iPad 6th generation.”
The game is expected to launch on April 11, and is free.
