Amepata mtetezi..Journey of Ruto’s son who has officially been admitted to practise law

In a double jovial moment Deputy President William Ruto’s firstborn son Nick Ruto had an academic achievement of his own as his father acquired a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Nairobi.

Nick Ruto was gazetted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, meaning that he now qualifies to argue a case in a court of law.

Well finally Nick was among those admitted to practice law by Chief Justice David Maraga at a ceremony in Nairobi on Wednesday.

The younger Ruto successfully completed the Kenya School of Law programme and passed the bar exam.

In 2016 DP Ruto was said to be grooming Nick to follow in his steps in politics after sending him to a number of public events in his stead.

In Elgeyo Marakwet, Nick made an impression with locals when he gave a generous contribution of Sh 100,000 to a church project, much like his father does.

Nick was also spotted at a public campaign rally for 2017 Jubilee party candidate in the Embakasi East MP contest, Mr Francis Mureithi.

At the time he arrived in a chopper at the Jacaranda Grounds in Donholm where he also addressed crowds and vouched for the Jubilee candidate, who lost to Babu Owino.

Congratulations to him!!Do you think he will end up in politics just like his father?
