Boniface Mwangi: Ambira boys should sue the state for unlawful arrest

The Director of Public Prosecutions has today withdrawn the case against the Ambira High School boy.

According to Journalist and activist Boniface Mwangi, the boys were arrested because of President huru Kenyatta emotional outburst on the matter.

Mwangi advised that the  boys should sue the state for unlawful arrest, detention… among other concerns where their rights might have been deprived.

Boniface Mwangi also shamed the  Kenya Police for wasting the taxes of Kenyans  while pursuing school boys while MPs who were bribed by sugar cartels are walking scot free.

The activist also shared his disappointment on how President Kenyatta has not said a word or shown efforts to deal with the Akasha case yet he had all the energy to issue a directive that the boys should be punished.

“A Cabinet Secretary, a governor, an MP, a prosecutor, two High Court judges, 2 magistrates, and a senior CID officer are being investigated by US Department of Justice over allegations of taking bribes from the Akasha drug family. Uhuru Kenyatta hasn’t said a word but he has energy for Ambira Boys” reads post in part

A panelist on one of the local had a similar opinion as he argued that  what happened to the children  was not just. He also claimed that it was unprecedented for Kenyatta to give the directive of the students to be punished.

“These children what is happening against them is injustice we need to separate issues; there is nothing wrong with insulting Matiangi. If he does not want to be insulted he should leave public office. Public office is scrutinized differently. Some scrutinize with nobility and fairness while some come on you rough.

“It is unprecedented for a president to declare that students should be arrested..” he said

The Ambira Boys were arrested 10 days ago after their video in which they were throwing insults to the Interior CS Fred Matiangi and Education CS Amina.
