Several conspiracy theories swirling around Cristiano Ronaldo have been revealed and apparently Ronaldo believes that all his recent problems within football are part of a grand plan against him.

It’s all Real Madrid’s fault. Tancredi Palmeri, citing “sources close to the player”, has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo believes Real Madrid are actively working to damage him. Palmeri wrote:

CR7 believes that everything starts with Real Madrid, and with the political will of Florentino (Perez) to dethrone the importance of Portuguese from international hierarchies.

What does that mean in practice? Apparently Ronaldo believe Real Madrid “put pressure on UEFA” to ensure that Ronaldo wasn’t crowned ‘the Best’ at their recent awards ceremony in London.

For the record, Luka Modric won that prize instead, while Ronaldo never showed up at the event. Tancredi Palmeri also claims that Ronaldo was ready to go the Best awards:

It is absolutely true that (Cristiano Ronaldo’s) plane was ready to take off from Montecarlo, when the decision was made to drop everyone in the lurch and not to participate in the ceremony in protest.

In another conspiracy theory supposedly held by Ronaldo, he believes his red card against Valencia in the Champions League was “not a coincidence”.

Fast forwarding to the present, Cristiano Ronaldo will be missing in action for Portugal during the current international break.

Most have framed Ronaldo’s absence for Portugal with regard to the rape allegations against the Juventus star in Las Vegas.

However Tancredi Palmeri claims that’s not the reason Ronaldo isn’t turning out for his country.

Instead, Cristiano is supposedly boycotting the Nations League in protest against UEFA. Tancredi Palmeri wrote:

Cristiano is retaliating against what he believes to be a conspiracy against him, so he decided to boycott the Nations League.

Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to contribute to the success of the Nations League with his presence. He has deliberately decided to deprive the competition of what would undoubtedly be it’s most important star.
