Josh Kroenke, son to Stan Kroenke who fully owns Arsenal Football Club has confirmed that he has full faith on the club’s head coach Unai Emery. The Spaniard was appointed last summer to replace Arsene Wenger after 22 years at the helm.

Speaking to the BBC Josh Kroenke stated that ‘Emery is exactly what we need’ and hopes the former Paris Saint Germain boss can bring the glory days back at the Emirates Stadium.

I think he’s doing a great job – has done a great job and is doing a great job,” Kroenke said. “Turning the page from such a legendary manager and figure as Arsene – not only at Arsenal but in European football – was always going to be a difficult page to turn and as a club, I think we’ve turned it as elegantly as we could.

“I think Unai’s daily approach is fantastic. He’s out there on the pitch, he’s working, he’s watching video, he’s communicating and his daily energy and devotion to his work is fantastic – it’s exactly what we need.

The Kroenke family started their investment on the club back in 2007 and in August 2018, they bought all the shares from the club and are now 100% Arsenal owners.
