Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has landed himself in trouble after his post aimed at humiliating Nyeri Town MP Ngnjiri Wambugu turned into an insult against women.

The vocal Tanga Tanga lawmaker was irked by the fact that Wambugu had turned with followers at a women leaders’ meeting at Nyeri Town D.E.B Primary School on Friday, August 16.

Through his facebook page, Oscar Sudi mocked Ngunjiri referring to him as a less of a woman.

“As i said earlier on, Ngunjiri Wambugu is less of a woman. He provoked me the other time and I told him that Women MPs were entitled to respond to him. Amewaaibisha sana watu wa Nyeri Town. Oneni sasa,” Oscar Sudi posted.

But,his post has been translated otherwise by the online community who are  accusing Oscar Sudi of intentionally looking down upon women in the society.

One facebook user, Churchill Ibwaga has asked Oscar Sudi to stop despising women in the name of humiliating Ngunjiri.

However Kandara MP Alice Wahome is in agreement with Oscar Sudi sentiments. Replying to his Facebook post, Wahome stated that the Inua Mama group welcomed Ngunjiri warmly, shaming his earlier attempts to disrupt the meeting.

The Inua Mama meeting turned chaotic when a section of the women engaged in a shouting match with youth who they accused of attempting to disrupt the meeting.

Alice Wahome pointed fingers at Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, alleging he was behind the chaos witnessed earlier in the meeting.“We will not allow anyone to intimidate women, we do not have to ask for permission to hold a meeting in this constituency,” she said.
