Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has become the laughing stock on Twitter after he on Sunday took to the same platform to cry foul after Baringo Senator Gideon Moi allegedly blocked him from an interview he was to have with Standard Media owned KTN TV in a talk show dubbed CheckPoint.
In the post which has since attracted hilarious reactions, Murkomen sited lack of media freedom in Kenya referring to the struggle between media ownership and editorial independence says Gideon canceled his appearance on KTN as the two learn from different political pages.
“I am sorry to let you know that my colleague Senator Gideon Moi has cancelled my appearance at KTN #CheckPoint Tonight. I have always supported media freedom in Kenya. Unfortunately, the struggle between media ownership and editorial independence is real. I don’t have any ill will against news team. They have to do what they have to do. I wish them well. Goodnight” read his post.

Kenyans on Twitter sarcastically advised Murkomen to launch his own TV so that Gideon Moi won’t have to block him in future. Others further went to suggest the name as Kimwarer TV.
In response you should buy citizen TV and block any of his likes😂

While other Kenyans were lamenting with Murkomen, a majority supported and congratulated Gideon Moi for taking the move arguing that the former had little to share
@MoiGideon and by extension @StandardGroupLc has done the right thing. You have nothing of importance to tell us. Your appearance on @KTNNewsKE would have been a waste of airtime , which you don’t deserve TBH.

Kudos to Man Gidi for saving us from your empty head. I am sure cartoon network would be more than happy to make you a permanent feature

You are a young senator but always talking petty; perhaps that is why you were denied the opportunity of talking antagonistic politics!
